Gabriel manages the Clarity Manof Fund, which was established as part of a government stimulus plan to address problems in the Israeli credit markets during the 2008 global financial crisis. He also spearheads the firm's activities with Distressed Debt and Special Situations. Prior to joining Clarity Capital, Gabriel served as Managing Director at Citigroup, where he built the bank’s European Non-Performing Loan Principal Investment business, investing in loans with a total face value of more-than €3.5B. Previous positions at Citigroup included building the European ABS trading desk in 2000, and trading Mortgage Backed Securities at Salomon Brothers. Gabriel holds an MBA with Honors from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
